Camping in Sooth Havera

A fine warm day, sunny this morning, and then a heavy shower at lunchtime.  Cleared again, and a sunny evening.  A chill in the breeze tonight.

Had the day off, and a long weekend coming.  I got the tent from the loft, and and camping stuff out.  Popped into town for errands, and strange seeing everyone wearing the compulsory face masks.  Packed up and headed for the boat.

Forecast looking good, so a weekend away camping and away from it all.  Landed at the south harbour, dropped off tents and supplies.  Tent setup, dinner done, and now a can of lager at the peat fire.  The island is long abandoned, but still used for sheep.  Heather Davidson from Quarff is also staying out here for the weekend.  Me and peerie Brian enjoying the last of the evening sun, before it goes behind the hill.  Taken at South Havera.
