Under the Bridge...

Son#3 and his partner bought a house last month in a development in St Peter's Basin on the banks of the Tyne. We'd seen it in February when they viewed it, but this was our first "proper" visit to see them in the new place now that lockdown is being eased. We had a walk along the riverbank, doubling back along part of Hadrians Wall Path. This involved walking under this old railway viaduct - I've chosen to blip it as I was very impressed with the brickwork in the roof of the arch, how it curves round in an "S" shape. The skill of those 19th Century craftsmen was amazing!

The silhouettes, from right to left, are my Editor, Son#3 and his partner.

I took a number of photos and struggled to choose which to blip today. There's a wealth of blippertunities around there so I'll no doubt be back again soon.
