Ludicrous

I had to go down to the local post office (am always surprised to find it still in operation, considering the prevailing conditions) and on the way saw this ludicrous signage on the tram works fencing. Even if it was possible to cross to the other side of the street at this point, the businesses mentioned are not there (they're about 0.5 km south of here , just before the junction of Constitution St with Duke St). Yesterday they pierced a 'buried water hydrant' (aren't they all buried?) and cut off the water supply for about 150 folk in Bernard St for several hours.
