Room to Grow

After our visit to two gardens at the end of June I became interested in the honeyberry bush, also called Haskap and various other names. (Lonicera caerulea in Latin.) It produces slightly elongated blue berries in good quantities after a few years, grows in normal soil, and is very hardy. According to Wikipedia it can tolerate temperatures down to -47°C (-53°F) so our present winters should be no problem at all.
These bushes were a present from Claire, who bought them in Umeå. These cultivars were grown in Finland and the one on the right (Jugana) comes from Russia, the other  (Aurora) from Canada. Globalisation!
They will grow a lot bigger than this, hence the wide spacing.
