Walls have ears ...

... and eyes too it seems. A case of lost and hopefully found when Strider and I took a walk this morning. I like to think they made their way home safely, being an optimist (as opposed to an optometrist).

We had a fantastic little trip out and took in coffee at the wetland cafe, where we met a rather lovely Italian waiter with whom we discussed the flowering of European culture during the Renaissance.As you do. Great way to start the day.

Fabulous news from The Dizzle who passed his final exam today. Brilliant achievement. We celebrated with lunchtime beer and pizza.

TSM had work friends over today which was really nice.  I cooked, they ate and laughed which was lovely  to see.

Finished reading 21 lessons for the 21st century. Bit of an intellectual ramble, enjoyable but not very focused. Some nice little sound bites ‘though. "Questions you cannot answer are better for you than answers you cannot question". Try telling that to a right wing populist of the kind that just got re-elected in Poland today...
