Easy? It's a walk in the park

Earlier walk with Fletch, up to the park. M stayed at home in case we had a phone call from the 'tree people" . The last lot we had cancelled  at the last minute 

It was lovely and peaceful in the park today. It had been rainng earlier so that must have kept folk away. There was no wind , it was warm and only slightly humid so a very pleasant walk.

The tree surgeons arrived  promptly .. on the dot. They worked quietly and efficiently. We will use them again.. 

A few mundane jobs then another walk with F up to the old dock. 

Netflix and wine and finally opened the enormous box of swiss chocolates I bought at M& S a few weeks back because they were selling them off at less than half price ( despite the sell by date not being till Oct! No chance of them lasting till then.)
M& S finally close 2 weeks today. Going to miss it.. but itll save me money. Ive lost count of the number of items I bought because they caught my eye as I passed through to the food department! 

Caught the news headlines tonight. Face coverings to be mandatory  in shops. Why have they decided this now? It would have been so much more relevant  3 months ago?
Is it just to shock the people who have got complacent and thought it was all almost over?  So many of the tv ads seem to be inferring this.
