Play Misty For Me

Because of lockdown I haven't been socialising, however, I met one of my friends today for coffee. He is a DJ around the West of Scotland and also does a late-night show on an online radio station. Thought you might be interested in how little gear is required to broadcast from your home to the rest of the world.

On the subject of late-night radio DJ's, my album of the day is "The Nightfly" by Donald Fagen. A smooth pop/jazz vibe looking back at how a teenager might have viewed the era of 50s and 60s American suburbia. The title track was described as a portrait of a late-night DJ taking lunatic phone calls from listeners while battling his own loneliness and regret, a bit like the current BBC 5Live overnight show. An album to chill out to late at night, with good arrangements and production.
