welcome woody

I spotted a juvenile woodpecker on the feeder this morning. The first visit this year, it was so good to see they are still around and hopefully this young guy just might make the gardens his patch, he will be very welcome. He flew from the feeder to the apple tree at the top of the garden and spent quite some time exploring up there. Long enough for me to creep outside and get a little closer.
