PAIR OF KINGFISHERS (Kotare) halcyon sancta

It was such a miserable day today - 7o - I put a flask in and went and checked out my Kingfisher haunts.  It was dull flat and horrible but strangely there were plenty of the little beauties about feeding.  Normally I put up the hide to get real close to the kingies but it was too cold fpr that -so used the car as the hide today.  The coffee was a treat to keep the cockles in my heart. - anyway here 's a pair - pretty closely cropped I,m afraid to say so the nearest ones'not the sharpest knife in the drawer
