Not Really Spring, You Know

These sad little things are in the front garden and have been fighting snow, rain and the bitter cold. I quite like the photo though, there's something about the curves and swoops of the leaves, the dark of the green and the wetness that appeals to me.

Today was an interesting day. One of our programs stopped working and I got the email saying "can you fix this?" The answer was, of course, Yes. But only after several hours of investigating and reading - and it was quite satisfying to find out where it was going wrong and what I could do to fix it.

These are all small steps but they are helping my confidence.

Other news, I managed to get my parcels without much fuss - the weather was so rubbish to day that I was the only person at both post offices. Quite pleased as it means I have my new phone and some books to read.
