Bus Tours

Today's Blip is of a traditional Maltese fishing boat. Nice bright colours and with the protective eye motif on the side - very pretty.

Not so pretty is that sky in the background. And downright ugly was the bus tour we took today. I shouldn't have been surprised - bus tours on holiday have always been synonymous with a honking day for me. There's never enough leg room and the seats are never comfy. Generally though, they've been clean.

Not today.

Of the three buses we hopped off and on, 2 had no view out the window at all. The other had carefully arranged the smears so they went in the same direction. And the "hopping on" was a bit hit and miss. More miss really. A bus every 30 minutes my @rse. And then it was driven by someone straight out of the Jeremy Clarkson Charm School. By 4, I'd had enough. I was tired of describing things as "soiled", I felt unclean, I was also cold - never a great combination.

Pretty boat though.
