Sunny Flower
Sunday and a bit of an explore.
The bus signs/numbers/maps are all somehow related but not closely. We jumped a bus and hoped that we'd end up at Dingli. 1. Because the name is sweet and 2. because there are cliffs there. We did end up there after about an hour of being shoogled, jolted and bounced across the island. Quite fun to see parts of the place you wouldn't see from the tour bus.
The cliffs are quite impressive but from the top you can't really see that in a photo. From there we wandered across country until we found Malta's only forest. That was cool.
Then we walked on to Mdina. It's also known as the Silent City. It might be but not in the place where we stopped for a drink and a snack. Awfully noisy. Worth it for the Focaccia with Parma Ham and Provolone though. Just what we needed.
What was also quite nice about today was avoiding the forecaast Hailstones. Very pleased about that.
And so, today's Blip is one of the many wild flowers out in bloom. Lovely.
