Pearl Earring

The results came back from our Covid 19 tests. All negative. :)

I'm praying that the Leicester Lockdown is lifted tomorrow, we are beginning to feel the strain, and are desperate to get away for a few days by the sea. 

This afternoon I crossed the county line into Newton and came across this painting attached to the bench on the lane leading out of the village.

A good interpretation of a masterpiece, and a fitting one for our time. 

Let's hope we will all be able to breathe a little easier in the not too distant future!

Don't really want to get political tonight but Johnson was once again behaving like some deranged nutter at todays PMQs. Now wonder we're all a bit fed up. :(
