Growing wild

I had another peaceful morning walk today, from my son's house to their local park, with granddaughter Frieda.  She was in the pushchair, ready for a nap. These days I start pushing her up the hill and I sing something - usually a made-up nonsense song - and this quickly soothes her to sleep. Often she sings along with me for a few minutes, before dropping off.  The neighbours must be getting used to this somewhat out of tune performance by now. At least I hope so.
Next to the still-chained-shut playground in the park is an area that's been seeded with cranesbill and other wild or semi-wild flowers. It's beginning to go to seed now, but the colours are still vibrant. So here it is.
