The people want fabric!

This evening we had a bbq in the park and played with the frisbee. James has a very minor hospital procedure at Southampton under a local in 2 weeks, and he has been told he needs to isolate for 2 weeks beforehand. At the same time though, he needs to get a covid test 2 days before the procedure. This apparently cannot be done here because we won’t be able to get them to send the results over. So the test has to be in Southampton because apparently this is fine. So then the lady on the phone suggested he stays with his parents for the two days before. But then obviously a he’s not isolating. Apparently this is fine though. So he’s not allowed to go for any walks but he is allowed to move in with others. The person on the phone saw no contradiction between these positions...

Added to this, they said if he doesn’t have anyone to pick him up they are going to admit him, despite the fact he won’t be ill. But he can’t get there at all unless he drives himself there having self isolated. If he goes in the car with someone else, or on public transport then that’s not self isolating.

I think I’d call that world beating, wouldn’t you?
