Tiny

Thalictrum rochebrunianum, Meadow Rue, flowers, small and seemingly delicate but it's a tough plant.  This one, still in a pot, imported from Norfolk earlier this year, ooks like it will do better in this wetter climate.  I'll plant it out as soon as I have time to prepare asuitable spot ..... which might not be soon :-/

Yesterday we went to Aberystwyth, crossing the county border for the first time in months.  We can actually see Aber from Tywyn seafront, ten miles across the water but it's a thrity mile trip by road.  After shopping we enjoyed a picnic with Tilda - lovely to see her after so long!  We had a great time but were very late back!   So it was a late start today.  Haven't sat still fo rlong but not sure that I have achieved much.  Meg found a seagull egg in the garden that must have rolled off the roof a while ago.  It smelt wonderful to Meg, so much so that she rolled in it.   It did not smell so good when she came indoors :-0 ...... so Jamie gave her a bath which improved things considerably!
