Convalescing by the sea

We stayed on our pitch with our dog as he recovers. He's not allowed to exercise (max 10 minute walk, if essential) and has to eat little and often and rest after food for 2 hours. He's perking up & becoming more himself. He even pinched Joseph's ball and he's back to barking at passing dogs. His appetite is returning too and everything seems to be functioning. His wound is healing nicely.
So we just relaxed with a book in the sunshine and had a cream tea in the afternoon. I'm amazed by how busy the campsite is and how many people enjoy their days on the campsite without venturing anywhere. Perhaps this is the way forward.

Meanwhile our daughters visited the beautiful Port Isaac.

You can see the sea over the hedge. I would love to be sitting on the beach but we have got a lovely spot here!
