Sunset from Great North Road

Recovering is taking me much longer than it once did. The cough lingers, and tiredness is usual. However, I was able to have a photography walk late this afternoon just before the sunset.

The extra is a 'rescued' photo of a swallow in the late afternoon light on the south side of the Arch Hill ridge. The camera had 'seen' more detail than the initial photo suggested. I have rewarded it with the posting.

The main photo was taken some minutes later looking northwest from Great North Road between buildings.

Had the eldest grandson with us for lunch today. Mid teens, and regaining the conversational skills he used to have. nevertheless like most of his contemporaries, leaving a txt unseen and unanswered is nigh on impossible. It was a lovely time especially for S who has been pretty much confined to the apartment (except for a couple of weeks after lock down and presurgery) since the end of March; nearly four months.
