First

Courgette from this years plants.  I’ve already removed the first tiny ones as they usually grow slowly and are bitter.  I think this will be good.  Romanesco variety.

The sun got me out this morning for a walk up onto Mill Moor.  Quite a slow walk as it turned out as there were plenty of butterflies to photograph.  My extra is three variants on the Meadow-Brown butterfly and I’ve also included one of the yellow-hammers that were marking their territory with their `little bit of bread and no cheese’ song.  (I need to go back with a longer lens.
