2047. Dancing Lady Statue

This statue sits on our dining table and she’s lovely...not a particularly valuable bronze but we like her...she was sitting in the hall for ages looking a little unloved but when we decorated our lounge we thought that the gold/silver colours would suit the colours in our room.

A busy day doing very little today...hubby was waiting in for deliveries so I went to see my youngest and we had a coffee then I came home.  Hubby went out for a walk and hey presto 2 of our 3 expected deliveries arrived..the third us due at some point today...my new Apple Watch!
Made hubby a chiropractor appointment for later this week as he’s still being bothered by this trapped nerve.  Hopefully that will sort it.
He collected our auction buys this morning and the China crockery is lovely and we’re so pleased with it.  Cleared out some older stuff, gave some to my youngest and the rest are waiting to go to the charity shop.  My hubby’s accidental purchase (don’t ask) was a box of old and foreign coins and it cost him a whole £15..the box itself is going to be very useful as it’s a cash box with a lock (but no key...soon sorted) but what was fascinating was some of the coins...one of which is a 1923 silver dollar...not excessively valuable but certainly worth more than what he paid!  There are other  coins which he’s going to keep but the rest can we understand go to the charity shop as they can be sold as lot and might raise a bit of money for them.
