We finally have a wwoofer!

This isn't the best photo but it was late and dinner was ready and i was very hungry, but i wanted to mark the evening our first wwoofer of the season joined us!  Karen, from Germany, arrived late last night and spent the day weeding the garden.   She is so delightful and very easy to have fit in here at Big Hill.

I've had a very busy day....actually the past 4-5 days have been pretty packed full and i'm feeling quite exhausted!!!   but i got all that i needed to achieve....now i can stop for a day, load a kiln and get a glaze kiln on in a  couple of days.   All this because Terry and I have decided we need a little getaway, so we're heading to Prince Edward Island on the 27th for 3 nights.   i have wanted to visit this place for a long time, and now that we have our Maritime 'bubble' in place, we are free to visit there.   we've got a lovely old farm house, close to the water, and beaches etc., for 3 nights.   but i need to get some pots ready for when i return.
