Hill

Yay!
My first hill. Okay it was more a hillock but it was up.
Woke up to a perfect Perthshire morning and breakfast early so out into the sunshine to get some steps in. This is Knock hill just behind the Hydro, with incredible views.

Lunch at Mhor 84. What a place, funky, quirky, socially distanced but packed with interesting local characters and some tourist accents starting to creep in. Good to see that all these places which have been decimated by lockdown are getting a resurge.
Wandered down to Comrie and finally did the De’ils Cauldron which has been on my hit list.. lovely easy walk but the falls themselves were slightly underwhelming compared to my my usual Birks of Aberfeldy walk. Is that sacrilege to say so?

More steps than my body cared for so it was back to the hotel for a big snooze before tea. Food remarkably good at the Hydro, I’d expected it to be mediocre mass catering. I stand corrected. Delicious and better still free, thanks to my Christmas voucher.
Early night for me, more fresh air beckons tomorrow.
