Rare

I went for a wildflower walk with my husbands aunt today.  We found this beautiful and rare meadow clary.  It is on the endangered list in the UK and very rare.  Fenced off to help to protect a small area where there were 8 clumps.. a beautiful thing to see.

There was a good heat in the sun today but on returning home the builders had lit a fire and were burning rubbish on the site next door... it was a toxic smell.. l closed all the doors and windows and hid indoors.  I spoke to another neighbour and they had reported them to the environmental health as it is illegal to burn on a building site unless they hold a license.. this may be interesting.  I sent a text to the owner who replied they had told him they were burning ordinary wood (not ply wood even) and nothing else.. yeah right.  We will see.. nightmare!  I developed a shocking headache and sore throat for a couple of hours.. thankfully that has since passed.. was it caused by the smoke? Hope not.
