Georgia On My Mind?

Out into the garden this evening, looking for a blip. It has rained and rained today, but at last it has dried up and the petunias by the back door have survived remarkably well.

They reminded me of Georgia O'Keefe's Jimson weed paintings, though I suspect that was just a trick of the light this evening. 

I love her work - so much so that I once talked TM into us driving from Phoenix to Santa Fe, to visit the Georgia O'Keefe museum there. It was a wonderful trip which we both enjoyed enormously. Which was lucky, because the Museum was closed for rehanging when we got there ....
