gatekeeper

It's hot and muggy and I'm still praying for rain - for the garden! Just been out to snap some butterflies and whilst the gatekeepers were only too pleased to pose, I seemed to be fair game for the whites, commas and red admirals to divebomb me! A fun experience!! I'll get them on camera... one day!!

Lovely morning today as friends invited us round to their garden for tea and cake - salted caramel ... yum! - so had a nice catch up natter with them and we left with gifts of stamps and jigsaws as we help them fundraise for The Bone Cancer Research Trust so sorting the stamps and doing the jigsaws - to make sure all the pieces are there before they sell them! - will keep us entertained for a while longer!
