I’ve always quite liked the Côte chain of restaurants. Their food is not especially sophisticated, but you know what you’ll get and it’s consistent.

Recently, they have started doing food deliveries. It kind of makes sense, I would think, because a lot of their food is cooked (or pre-prepared) in a central hub anyway.

And Jay Rayner reviewed the home delivery fare the other day and approved.

So, I decided to test it out. I’ll give it a 4 out of 5. The lobster, with garlic butter, was lovely. But oven chips are just oven chips.
