Through the trees....

.... is The National Wallace Monument, seen from the University of Stirling campus. When the Scottish and English armies faced each other at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297, Scotland was led to victory by a figure destined to become a national hero – Sir William Wallace. This is his main monument in Scotland; there are other
landmarks associated with him. It’s presently closed to tourism due to the coronavirus lockdown.

We walked at the University late afternoon after dropping my wife’s car in for a service; by all accounts a well thought through and safe experience. We’ll collect tomorrow.

Quiet morning after yesterday. And wet, so stayed indoors.

Family chat by phone and text. All well.
