Fanning. Happy face; good news.

A quiet day by choice today.

Entry is deliberately a record of yesterday, 22 July 2021. It’s important to note it in my journal.

We were in Edinburgh early; hospital appointment - Year 5. We navigated a different layout, lots of further change happening at this world class diagnostic, surgical and after-care unit. Free parking and an air conditioned waiting room on a warm morning was welcome. My wife was taken 5 minutes early. The consultant said a lot of things of note; the best was “I’ll write to your GP, you’re discharged and we’ll X-ray you in two years…” Thankyou NHS Scotland.

We’d coffee in the car before a walk at Cramond foreshore. It’s somewhere we’ve gone each time after hospital.

And then we went home for our family Birthday time and BBQ, where the day continued as you’ll maybe have seen if you looked at yesterday’s entry.
