Portrait of the Artist as an Old(er) Man!

A grey morning but having made an early start we decided to make the most of it and take a walk out to Broadwater with Meg, delivering Lemon Cake to friends along the way :-)   It was good fun and just the right temperature for a walk.  Meg was able to roam free for a good part of the time including an attack of the zoomies when Jamie and I became separated and she dashed back and forth between us, skidding on the turns as she set off back again!   I had stopped to take a photo for Blip (extra pic) but Jamie was just behind me and made a much better job of it so just a little cheating as I use his pic for the main blip. 

The bathroom now has a door!!!   Hanging from the old sliding mechanism at the moment, using the new hangers.  I will install the new, smoother runners next.

Not all good news today.   A reminder of the frailty of life when a very good friend had to say goodbye to a dog she has loved for many years.  Living just around the corner, she helped us find Meg so the news has touched us deeply.  RIP Lady x
