PEACOCK THRONE

I went for a walk in the dunes today and they were full of flowers and butterflies. I saw lots more Graylings than I've previously noticed (usually about one a year), but the Peacocks were definitely more photogenic, posed as they were on Hawkweed (or is it Hawkbit?). I couldn't decide between this one and the first extra. The second extra is a Grayling which always rests with closed wings and is well camouflaged and the next is a Comma which is only about the second I've seen this year!

Thanks for all the lovely comments, hearts and stars on my surprise ninth Blip anniversary yesterday. I'll gradually catch up with you all. xxxx
