Chainsaw Vs wrist.

Up a ladder armed with a chainsaw, I nearly disarmed myself when pruning a bloody great juniper tree.
Luckily I had on some leather gloves which I think went some way to reducing the damage.  I just thank my lucky stars I didn't catch the other side of my wrist.
Minor injuries dept did a good job on x-raying and cleaning however there is some evidence of nerve damage so it's off to St John's in the morning for further investigation and a bit of surgery.
That would appear to preclude any golf for 2 or 3 weeks.  Dammit, just when I was getting the hang of it.
