High Brandelhow

A bit wet today - so a long run from the house round Derwentwater and through Great Wood. A total of about 12 miles, but it was difficult to get into a rhythm on some of the paths around the lake as it was really busy with people and we kept stopping to let them past. Still a good day, but we did feel knackered really tired when we got home. 

High water levels early this year have damaged many of the jetties, and the Keswich launches, though running, are unable to stop at any of the points around the lake, instead just running a round the lake trip from the main landing stages.
