The Mont Blanc Mountain

The Mont Blanc mountain is the highest in the Alps and rises 4,808 m (15,774 ft) above sea level.  the massif lies along the French-Italian border and reaches into Switzerland.  You can find more details here if you care to:

This morning, we decided to go to the nearby town of Morges again because the train ride is only 12 minutes and the views along the lake are breathtaking. The Mont Blanc isn't always visible, but I was thrilled that we could see it today!

A fabulous day out, but very, very, hot! 30 C and not much of a breeze!

Extra:
two glasses of delicious Pinot Noir red wine and cooled sparkling water. A glass of wine here is a modest 1dl. Occasionally we order 3dl for two which is 1,5 dl per person. We only drink wine when we have a meal as well. It was wonderful to sit outside on a shady terrace!
