Kiftsgate

A bit more unlocked

I met friends at this beautiful garden in the cotswolds . It was created in the  1920s and 30s by Heather Muir, a friend of Lawrence Johnston  of the famous nearby Hidcote Manor National Trust property. It was further developed over the years by two more women gardeners.
The views over to the Malverns from the pool on the terrace are spectacular. The famous Kiftsgate rose has come and gone for this year though.
Photo is of the house. Extra is an intriguing insect which appears to be a green ladybird.
Extra extra, views flowers and water feature.
