Softly Stunning

So many photos today, this was the last one - as we walked back along the front here in Sesimbra, the colours were softly stunning, seagulls looping in the sky and bobbing in the turquoise sea, felt so privileged and so loved.

Spent the morning talking listening to a Brazilian family who have arrived after several years in Croatia, and going to look at the church they are building in the Penha de França part of Lisbon. Tomorrow we spend time with another family.

Meanwhile, we celebrate our anniversary, a bit late. Had a superb meal of a grilled sea bass, chosen by Mike, which the waiter deboned at our table. And now sleep, which we are short of - usually too hot to sleep till well after midnight.

Gratefuls:
- such beauty, I don't feel big enough to take it in properly
- reading The Prodigal God, by Tim Keller, at Alex's this morning, again, how to interiorize this?
- lying on warm sand, listening to the regular crashing of waves and the calling of seabirds
