Catching The Breeze

Another blisteringly hot day helped only a touch by the wind which served mainly to move the warm air around. I played around with some ornamental grasses blowing in the summer breeze, rarely at rest, the challenge was picking just the right moment when enough was in focus and not overexposed. Still using the extension tube, the plane of focus was shallow and stalks and leaves came in and out of focus rapidly.

In the end, there are mostly straight vertical lines with a few curves, mostly yellow/green with a few reds and mostly soft focus with a few sharp details. There is also contrast of light and dark. So a lot to be satisfied with in this image.
