Lint Slough, Artist Fungus

Sue took me to a trail we had never walked before, a gently-sloping, well-maintained trail next to a tidal slough. Heron rookery, fungus, lichen, mosses, abundance of grasses, and the ancient horsetail reed. Drove to the library, which is closed, but you can park outside it and use their wifi. We read the news from Portland. Apparently the Governor has worked a deal with Trump to get his mercenaries and border patrol out of Portland. I hope it works.
