The whatchimycallits

They are all along this stretch of the canal, but as usual, I have no idea what they are called. It was very warm today, but the sun only had its hat on until the early afternoon. I went a little walk, and greeted various neighbours on my return. Having made a deposit in the bank of good will, I retired to drink some beer, and wonder why there is a puddle outside my fridge. No idea.
