A day in the life

Facelift

My workplace in Kalmar, the magnificent theatre building from 1862 is having its facade renovated. When Corona arrived in mid March it shut down completely for the season and the council decided that now could be a good time to take care of the neglected maintenance in stead of in the future.

Up the stairs to the left is a restaurant, belonging to the building, that has also been totally renovated and under new, private, management. I've eaten there twice so far and am happy about what has become of it.
I'm curious to see what the whole building will look like sometime late August when the curtains rise. We all hope that indoor renovating will take place soon as well.

I now have a car with a functioning AC, which is fabulous since summer came back today and heat was pressing.
