Dragonfly

I had a very pleasant but hot couple of hours in the company of a local dragonfly enthusiast and expert photographer. It took a while to get my eye tuned in to notice these insects and then the challenge of photographing them, watching the spots where they were likely to land. I ended up with a few decent and in focus images plus a lot of repetitions. I'm keen to go again and build on today's knowledge and skills - very much out of my comfort zone.
