We Love Fish

Just round the corner from our guesthouse in Sesimbra - which has been an important fishing centre from before Roman times. We went round the maritime museum that's been set up in the 17thC fort on the seafront. Never knew there were so many ways of fishing and different methods for different fish and other seafood.

Also climbed up to the impressive castle over the town and wandered round. And took a plant to the Brazilians from yesterday. To add to their woes, Marcus had a tooth extracted today - it broke off when we were with them last night, poor guy.

Now we are back in a too hot Alentejo, and I've bought fish for dinner.

Gratefuls:
- having a break by the beautiful sea
- meeting Ricardo and family at the supermarket in Évora, they're off to the Algarve for a holiday, as the beaches are empty of foreigners, apparently
- the consistent and sensible way the Portuguese are coping with the virus - but boy, will I be glad when we don't have to wear masks anymore!
