By the Banks of the Allan Water

Temperature today in Bridge of Allan  27C.
 
 I arranged to meet a friend in the Meadowbank bar/restaurant but neither of us were aware we were supposed to ring and book in advance. 
Anyway we got a table but first we had to have our temperature taken then sign in with my iPhone for the track and trace system which involved using the QR code then filling in personal data as well as location. All payment was of course contactless.
Not every café, bar or restaurant employs this system so its very much hit and miss.
 
Did I feel safe? Not really and both of us agreed we would not be taking such a risk again.
 
Better to meet up and sit by the banks of the Allan Water with a takeaway coffee.
