Good Night, Catbird

The close of a day, the end of the week, the last night of July, it’s hard to believe how quickly time is passing by. I’m not sure I like it! • We visited two Flower/Landscaping stores today. We wanted to add a few perennials to the butterfly bed, and the Wallendas required more sunflower seed • Unfortunately there were no sightings of the Monarch today • While touring the yard for a blip, I heard this catbird mewing nearby. It took me a moment to find him, but there he was anxious to be noticed in the dimming of another warm day • It’s been a busy one and it’s late. Good night, all, Sweet Dreams from Maine.
