Now the Gardening is Done, What Next?

I shouldn’t say this is silly, but there is something amusing about it.
Thanks KangaZu for hosting our monthly Silly Saturday in memory of Admirer.

Today our horse was racing at Gilgandra, a small town 4 hours drive west of the Blue Mountains. It is the first time we have been able to attend a race meeting during the pandemic. Racing has miraculously continued in Australia (due to no positive cases within the industry) but they have only just started allowing owners and members to attend. Apparently there has been a big increase in membership :-)
I shot this as we drove through Gilgandra.

There is a fashion at present to decorate grain silos. I couldn’t resist this one in nearby Dunedoo. Mr isbi is not a great connoisseur of art but he liked this! I thought it might be a good omen but the horse only managed fourth, not that we were too disappointed as it was an unsuitable track for him.

We were hoping to stay with my sister, Ms Peahen, in Dubbo but due to the Covid spike and our unavoidably less than optimal social distancing recently, plus she is in a high risk category, we have booked into a motel. We will meet her for coffee in the morning at the gallery where she has some paintings exhibited.
After a stressful week we are looking forward to a quiet night in with some take away dinner :-)
