Eared leafhopper

I know I have blipped them before, but I simply love these Eared leafhoppers Ledra aurita. A master of camouflage they could sit all day on lichen covered branches and go completely unnoticed, luckily they are attracted to light and I find them fairly frequently either in or around the moth trap, which is lovely as they are a great thing to have in the garden. According to the .net, they are found locally across the south, which makes it's presence in my garden even more special!

Grateful today for - interesting little things.
