St. Francis in August

Dear Diary,

St. Francis is enjoying his August surroundings, Rubeckia and Day Lilies.  It is a very yellow/orange time of year with a smattering of pink.  It seems to reflect our hotter days but it hasn't been too bad lately.  We desperately need rain and I think some is coming as the remnants of Hurricane Isaias comes north on Tuesday.  I just hope the winds stay away.  That is something we don't need.
