Wells Goes Continental

Sophie slept well but had us up quite early (i.e. about an hour before the sun came up on her alarm clock).

Chris joined us for a trip over to Wells this morning for a walk around the moat to see the swans, a play in the park, a picnic lunch and an ice cream.

Cars are currently banned from the Market Square, so local cafes have take the chance to put tables outside, give it a real continental feel.

We were all feeling a bit jaded this afternoon so we're quite happy doing a bit of gardening (me) colouring (Sophie & Grandma) and playing games.

We treated ourselves to dinner in Wetherspoon's again. The young man who brought our order used to look after Tess's Dad in the local care home and when we reminded Sophie of this she piped up "That's good, perhaps he'll look after you when you go in there!" Charming!

Extra of Sophie & Chris having fun in the park.
