Friendlier a fellow in large (/up close)
Extra: Ida reflecting

Well, I got v. close to them today... All of them took mealworms from my hands, and they were sufficiently close and calm that I managed to stroke Flügel and Koi as they took the treats. Ida and Kappa were much more wary, but still came to my open palm. Their chins are so soft...

There was one curious moment when a paper bag flew overhead on the wind, and they all lay down to watch it warily; presumably they couldn't identify it as friend or foe, so went into defensive mode. They were sufficiently distracted by it that I could stroke Koi's front for quite a while before they all got up and resumed exploring.
They love the flower beds (as well as any water, be it puddle, pool, or a cup of drink), and Ida gets all giggly when she's excited, making cute little chattering noises when she finds something wet or edible.

Today's others are here (or right from Considering the ramp)
