East Wemyss to Lower Largo

We can do it by ourselves...................... Walk the 'Fife Coast Path'. Ann was just having a little wobble yesterday??!!

This morning we drove to East Wemyss and walked 7.15 miles to Lower Largo. Not the bestest of walks from a gorgeous little collie's point of view because after running around off my lead for about half an hour, we then hit the towns of Buckhaven, Methil and Leven and I had to stay on my lead for more than an hour. ….............What depressing towns?!!

Covid-19 has hit us all hard but these three Fife towns were like they were still in 'lock down'. Everything was closed. For more than an hour we walked through eerily closed down towns. As we pounded the streets, the locked down shutters said it all. Nobody was about.

Small towns in Scotland?! ….................And small businesses which will never, ever, recover from the last few months of lock down.

…................And then eventually we reached Leven and walked all the way along the beach to Lower Largo because the tide was out.

Today we walked 7.15 miles.

Had to wait almost an hour at Lower Largo to get a bus to Leven, but fortunately once at Leven bus station we were able to get a bus straight back to East Wemyss where our car was. Yay!!!!

PS - Walked for 2 hours 15 ins.
