village cat (and dog)

...it is delightful to discover that two previously empty properties now have tenants and that we have some new neighbours. One of the families has at least two dogs and several cats, as if the village didn't have enough cats already! This is one of their moggies and, a little difficult to see, one of their dogs peeping at me through the balustrade - it might be a fox terrier but I am no expert...
